About Amos Charts

Criticism says "this is good or bad." I ask why the world listened to it a billion times.

Amos Charts is the editorial pseudonym of a mathematician passionate about pop music. He doesn't write reviews. He doesn't rank things by merit. He analyzes streaming data to understand what touched people, and why.

He always starts from the numbers. He always arrives at the stories.

Music & Numbers is where these two worlds meet.

The method

A pop music analyst. Starting from numbers, arriving at stories.

Numbers are the starting point, not the destination. I don't judge popular taste — I study it with respect, intellectual curiosity, and hopefully consistency. Nothing here is "criticism" — it's analysis, and storytelling about the songs that touched us a billion times.
